The flat is situated right near Landsdowne roadabout at the top end of town. Great location, close to the centre, buses, Landsdowne campus and uni bus stop for the Talbot campus.
The property is large and quiet. It would suit a student, professional and even a couple. The water has been paid for for the year, it was £56 so I would only ask for the money for however long the tennancy you sort out with the estate agent. The electrcity is paid via a top up meter but is actually very cheap, in the 4 months i ahve lived here I've only put £25 in. The shower and toilet comes from the main room and is a good power shower.
The flat itself comes unfurnished (except for a set of drawers and cooker) however I am also selling all my furniture so if you'd like any of that to remain we can discuss prices however the inventory from the estate agent would require you to take the furniture at the end of your agreement.
The price is £325 per month, very cheap for the size and location. There is internet set up however it is on my name so I would have to see if it was possible to transfer payment details if you would like the internet (it costs £15 per month from virgin). The estate agents are very good and have dealt with any problems very quickly.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION
The estate agents (Goadsby) will require references from employers (or tutors), previous landlord and the bank (or 6 months of statements). You will need to get these as soon as possible as they will need to be accepted before a tennancy agreement is drawn up. Students will also need a gaurantor for the property. The deposit is one month and a half, and there will be an administration fee of I think £125. As I said although the intial deposit and fees seem steep, it's actually a very cheap place to live and warm enough without turning on the heating.
