Hi!
I am a 27 year old student nurse, currently at Manchester University, studying for a second degree. I am looking for a flatmate, either a fellow student or professional, to share my two bedroom flat in Didsbury.
I am looking for someone sociable, neat and tidy and preferably also an animal lover, as you will also be living with my chubby house cat.
I am fairly easy going, love to socialise and entertain or just sit and chat over a glass of wine or cup of coffee. I also love to cook/bake, so a few home cooked meals will probably also be provided every now and then.
The flat is newly refurbished and has 2 double bedrooms, a living/dining room, kitchen, bathroom, off-road parking, intercom system and security alarm. The available room is a double and is furnished with a bed, dresser, built in wardrobe, a TV, phone socket and access to high speed, wireless broadband internet.
It is in a lovely location about a 5-10 minute walk from the bars and shops in Didsbury village, a 5 minute walk to Christies Hospital and a 20 minute bus ride into Manchester City Centre. The apartment complex is very well maintained and has well kept grounds and gardens. There's a great community feel here and the neighbours are all very friendly and approachable and there are regular social gatherings and events for the residents. There are excellent local amenities and a very pretty park literally on the doorstep with sporting facilities.
My current flatmate is unfortunately leaving the area, so I am looking for someone to share the lease so it will be as much your flat as mine. As I currently rent through an estate agent, there is a £350 deposit (fully refundable if you move out) and a one off administrative fee of £115, sadly unavoidable. Rent includes all bills, excluding council tax which as a student, I do not pay. I believe the rate here is between £60-70 per month.
It really is a great flat and a lovely area and is available to view from August 25th, strictly no earlier sorry. (photos of flat to follow when my rebooted laptop allows!!)
Please, no enquiries about short-term leases!!! |
