A gorgeous room available to rent in a fab Victorian flat. The room is a double and is furnished with double bed, wardrobe and chest of drawers. The room and the flat have recently been redecorated.
The flat has a lovely bright and cosy living room that overlooks the communal gardens and air-raid shelter! Kitchen is small but perfectly formed. Modern bathroom with power shower.
The flat has wireless broadband and digital cable TV with Virgin Plus so you can pause, rewind, record etc. The flat is in a very safe area and is in a very secure building with friendly neighbours.
The flat is in West Dulwich. There is a good gastro pub (Timeout Gastro Pub of the year 2007) just down the road and another pub and a couple of restaurants nearby. And a good selection of shops including a Tesco Metro and a deli, a few minutes walk away.
West Dulwich has great transport links with trains going to Victoria, Herne Hill and Blackfriars. Trains from Herne Hill go to Kings Cross. Short bus ride takes you in to Brixton for the Victoria Line. Other local buses include the 322, 3- which is also a handy night bus and the P13 that goes to East Dulwich. Several Parks and open spaces locally, including the fab Brockwell Park- although it might now be too cold to go to the Lido!
I’m looking for a mature flatmate who is an experienced sharer and has good flatmate etiquette. I am in my late 20’s and have shared for many years and am looking for a flatmate who is around to occasionally share the odd bottle of vino and a chat.
The rent is £620 a month and this includes all bills e.g. Council tax, gas, electric, cable tv, internet and phone line. The deposit is a months rent. Deposit and a month rent in advance will need to paid. Room is available now initially for a 6 month contract.
