This is a truly gem right in the heart of West Jesmond. The flat is located approximately 3mins from West Jesmond metro station, 3mins from local Tesco (open till midnight on week days) and 8 minutes from Osborne Road full of bars and restaurants. And the Lonsdale pub is literally around the corner so in the summer heat you have refreshments on your fingertips. Also you can easily walk to the city centre in 15 - 20 minutes.
The flat itself consists of one massive double bedroom with double bed, chest of drawers, shelves and wardrobe. It has a fireplace (although it is tiled up) and nice bay window. The second double bedroom is smaller than the first one but it is still spacious for a double. It has double bed, wardrobe and good size window.
There is a very good size living room with two IKEA sofas and small glass table. I have a very nice and solid wooden table and six chairs which I wouldn't mind leaving behind for the right price ;) Kitchen is definitely another selling point as it is very nice and spacious! So much storage possibilities, all the mods and cons and including washing machine. And finally very spacious bathroom that has bath, shower over bath and toilet. There is also a standing wooden rack very handy for your extra stuff and towels.
There is a spacious patio in the back of the flat that is accessible from the kitchen. And very spacious storage area for all the stuff that you want to put out of the way.
If you are looking for a good place to live then don't miss this one as the first person who sees it will take it! In comparison with other flats in this area and in Heaton this flat is more equally proportioned and I cannot mention it enough with big kitchen and bathroom!
I love living here but unfortunately due to work commitments I have to relocate to London! The flat has very good landlord and I am truly sad that I have to leave it. It is suitable for students as well as professionals. My lease is until October 2011 so I am looking for someone who can take it after me but you can always discuss with the landlord the length of the contract so it suits your needs. Ideally it will be available from 5th December but can be bit flexible.
