Hello, I'm Chris and currently rattling around in a fairly large house on my own.
Tranquil surroundings, in a village just south of Bedford with easy access to Bedford town centre and the A1. On offer is a whole floor (2 rooms) to yourself with your own bathroom (inc steam room), all bills included. This would be your quarters and I would respect that. Alternatively there are other rooms to choose from, so there's a certain degree of flexibility.
Rooms are newly furnished - in fact the whole house is new - and just ready to dump a suitcase in. Can always buy in extra furniture according to needs. Also: Shared kitchen with all mod-cons, shared lounge, a large garden, and parking.
Bus-stop just a stroll away which takes you into town.
About me: I'm perfectly normal I can assure you, although I expect there are those who would dispute that. I'm a bit miserable in the morning admittedly (more of an evening person), otherwise very laid back and easy going.
About you: I would need someone who is professional, clean and tidy with a laid back attitude and good sense of humour (it might well be needed!). The last time I shared a house was back in Uni days and so I know that it has its downsides, but it can be a giggle as well. I might have to draw the line at accumulating street cones and flashing amber lights though. Don't mind if you smoke as long as it's outside. I really just want my house respected above all else since the carpets are new, etc. but at the same time I want to create a welcoming atmosphere where you would feel at home, your home, where everyone has their own space, but can socialise as well.
I intend to put the house on the market some time soon, and so this would probably be better suited to someone looking for a stop-gap. Having said that, in the current climate, it could well be some time before it's sold, these things can drag on for months. All I'm saying is that you may need to be tolerant (when the time comes) of prospective purchasers and an unpredictable notice period. Contact me here, my subscrption might have expired ... chris at squermy . plus . c o m |
